Houseplants
The
Greenhouse and Tropical House are always brimming with
beautiful flowering, specialty and foliage plants to
help you decorate your home. As the seasons change so
do some of the plants. Our knowledgeable staff can help
you choose the plants that will best suit your needs.
Flowering Plants
When
we think of flowering houseplants most of us think of
Violets and Orchids, however; there are so many more
such as Cyclamen, Reiger Begonias, Kalanchoe, florist
Azaleas, and Mums. These types of flowering plants are
available year round for your own home or gift giving.
Bonsai and Lucky Bamboo
These
plants can provide a focal point or accent on any desk
or table. Bonsai generally do well in a brightly lit
area and prefer moderate moisture. Lucky bamboo does
prefers filtered sun and enjoys sitting in water. A good
selection of starters and larger size plants are always
available.
Foliage Plants
These
are plants that we mostly think of when houseplants
are mentioned. Palms, Corn Plants, Snake Plants and
Chinese Evergreens fall into this category. These are
available year round and provide good accents for the
home or office.
Cacti and Succulents
We
carry both Desert Cacti (Tropical variety) and Forest
Cacti (Christmas, Sunrise and Thanksgiving varieties).
These plants thrive in bright indirect light and direct
sun locations requiring little attention. Sizes vary
from 3” size pots to 10” size pots.
